INTRODUCTION - Author's Disclaimer:
The story to be told in this blog is a revival of one that my siblings and I invented for our Bionicle toys in 2003. It is based very loosely on the Bionicle Universe created by Lego, way back in 2000.
Our first introduction to Bionicle was through the movie: "The Mask Of Light", but we ultimately fell short in our understanding of the story since we did not have such things as the internet or the comic book series available to us. A lot of what we imagined about Bionicle was made to compensate for not having the entire set of toys: Matoran, Turaga, Rahkshi, and other important characters were excluded with the excuse that they had either died or were being held captive by Makuta. I do not remember a lot of what we played since it was so long ago, hence why "the history" made mention of in this blog-story has been forgotten.
Before making this blog, I wanted to see how much of the original Bionicle story we could incorporate into ours. It seemed Lighting had become a thing at some point and Light Matoran were given a name, but after that, we had just gone in a completely different direction. As far as connecting our story with the original Bionicle story goes, one could say that this is what happened after Spherus Magna if one wanted to. Otherwise, the connections between our story and theirs pretty much begin and end with The Mask Of Light.
This is just a creative writing project which you can enjoy reading. We have since had a lot of the toys and characters from the 2003-2006 series come into our possession, along with a new generation of wee creators just itching to play with us. This blog is meant to record the things we play for old-times sake.
